Preparation time / administration
- Plan annual instructional programs with clear learning expectations, aligned with the national curriculum
- Prepare necessary documentation and fulfil school requirements
- Attend staff meetings, training, and workshops for professional development
- Respect school regulations and manage student discipline
- Volunteer to provide extra lessons for students who need additional help
- Maintain an effective classroom environment, including seating, decoration, and overall atmosphere
- Prepare, administer, and score tests; report on students’ progress and growth
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan and prepare tests, including summative assessments
- Mark exams and report results
- Assess and address students’ learning difficulties
- Attend monthly technical meetings and peer-teaching sessions to improve teaching skills
- Conduct micro-teaching or lesson studies to refine teaching methods
- Be open to new teaching approaches and attend relevant workshops and training
- Experiment with new teaching methods, supported by the head teacher and school principal if needed
Teaching
- Develop and implement diverse teaching materials and activities aligned with curriculum goals
- Evaluate student work, identify learning needs, and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with parents and school staff on student progress and educational programs
- Engage in continuous learning and innovation in teaching methods
- Lead academic projects, create new learning tasks, and participate in class counselling to enhance student knowledge and skills

- Guide students in leading academic projects and school events, and coach them for competitions
