FRENCH TEACHER

The English teacher assistant support the lead teacher in creating enjoyable, interesting English sessions that help students improve their language skills, boost their confidence, and cultivate a love of learning.

Main Responsibilities

Preparation time / administration

• Setting up the classroom for lessons
• Assist the teacher with the preparation of teaching materials and the completion of teaching records, and managing class behaviour, and safety.
• Taking part in training
• Assisting the teacher in supervising group activities and clearing away materials and equipment after lessons

Teaching

• Assisting students who require extra assistance with assignments
• Assist with outings and outdoor projects
• Fill in the teacher when necessary
• Assist the teacher with overall classroom management (language translation as needed, assistance with discipline, etc.)

Others

• Be a part of the school events
• Others tasks assigned by the teacher

To ensure that the students fully access to higher education. S/he will be in permanent contact with families, community and social services. Co-responsible of the HCS students and their families with social colleagues and the stakeholders, and to prevent students from drop out.

Main Responsibilities

Assessment and Evaluation

• Assess the home visit
• Boarding school assessment forms
• Daily report, monthly report, quarterly report

Case Management

• Work with School life on student absenteeism and take intervention
• Identify problem in the family and support based on the specific need
• Work on case management & different projects
• Prevent drop out
• Update information in database & Database entry

Collaboration and Networking

• Work with parents to maximize their understanding of the school functioning
• Work with others units to plan and coordinate work particularly school psychologists, health team, pedagogical team, career guidance and other projects
• Establish relationship with other stakeholders that work the similar field in order to refer cases if need
• Build good relations with local authorities
• Take part in community workshop or training on the topic that organize by the Social department

Others

• Prepare a weekly work plan of daily work
• Organize the food distribution for the monthly distribution, the Khmer New Year, and other distribution based on requirement
• Daily standby
• Recruit students for KG
• Other tasks required by the social manager

Teach students how to draw and calligraphy correctly in accordance with the rules, as well as the value of painting for future applications.

Main Responsibilities

Preparation time / administration

• Design and develop lesson plans, instructional materials and projects that align with educational standards and student needs
• Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
• Managing student behavior and fostering a creative and respectful atmosphere
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students during dance classes
• Attend meetings to improve the integration of creativity into program, practices and to provide feedback and improvements

Teaching

• Teach and implement lesson plans for drawing and calligraphy in each grade level
• Teach students painting and calligraphy techniques, both classical and contemporary in accordance with the rules and stages
• Encourage students to explore their creativity and develop their unique artistic style
• Follow each step on the various drawings
• Follow various drawings and calligraphy
• Apply individually

Others

• Collaborate with English teachers to make the postcards to send to Sponsors
• Participate in organizing the internal and external competition with SECA Manager and supervise the visual art events

The Chinese coordinator is teaching, developing and promoting the appropriate skills and social abilities to enable the optimum development of children, according to age, ability and aptitude. S/he creates daily lesson plans, conducts classroom discussions, administer and grade tests, assign and review homework, and complete individual student assessments.

Curriculum Development and Implementation

• Develop Chinese curriculum for Secondary and High School Students; design extra-curricular Chinese cultural projects; e.g. Setting up Chinese Club; Calligraphy, Chinese Martial Arts, Chess, Drawing, Food; Organize Chinese cultural activities on and off campus
• Make Annual Chinese Teaching Plan
• Make Weekly Chinese Lesson Plan
• Teach Chinese to Grade 6 and 7

Teacher Supervision and Support

• Supervise Chinese teachers and provide professional development
• Coordinate absence of Chinese teachers, teaching replacement or standby
• Organize department meeting for Chinese teachers
• Select and interview Chinese teacher applicants with Human Resource Office when needed

Student Assessment and Progress Monitoring

• Provide paper-based or oral evaluation of students’ Chinese learning monthly and by semester

Program Management and Administration

• Make project proposals
• Request and close budget for projects

Communication

• Attend pedagogical meeting of the school as scheduled
• Attend School Management Meeting as scheduled
